The Gonzo Chronicles


images-1So I recently stumbled upon this absolute gem on http://www.stumbleupon.com, a great site for any of you fools that haven’t heard of it.  I grew up on the ski slopes of a mountain in Maine called Sunday River and for those of you who don’t know about it, I suggest you go shred there ASAP.  But back to the point, this video is of snowboarder Scott Stevens who has taken a totally different approach to boarding by riding on objects and places that most people wouldn’t even think possible.  He disregards huge jumps and massive air, instead focusing on style, creativity, and essentially reinventing the art of snowboarding.  As seen in the video, sometimes Scott doesn’t even take the time to strap in both feet and uses the unstrapped foot in whatever crazy trick he is pulling off.
